I have been to The Local a couple of times since it is so convenience to my work place. My team ordered love and I decided to try the Power Salad with blackened chicken. Let me tell you- that chicken was incredible. I will order that every time I visit! The salad was delicious and exact what I needed to get through the rest of my work day. I would also recommend the chicken kebob meal, and chips and French onion dip.
We were getting home late from a meeting so we stopped for a bite. The place was full and the vibe was great. I had the tuna poké bowl which is always perfect. I’ll be back again soon.
I went here specifically for the delicious looking lobster roll on their website... only to find out they don't actually have lobster rolls... extremely poor business practice to advertise products you don't have and resulted in instant disappointment before I even ordered.
I ended up ordering the onion dip/chips and gnocchi, which came out together instead of as an appetizer and main course. I ended up taking the onion dip home as I didn't want the gnocchi to get cold.
The gnocchi itself was ok. Average flavor, the sauce was very loose which made it hard to eat, and the gnocchi was chewy and sticky in an unpleasant way.
It was also very cold in the restaurant and I'm lucky I brought a jacket which I usually don't carry during the summer.
They had a decent beer selection and I enjoyed a nice local beer.
For appetizers we had Buffalo wing which come with celery, carrots, and blue cheese. We also tried the burrata which comes with prosciutto, pistachios, and a garlic drizzle. My husband ordered the cheese with bacon burger. He is still talking about that burger. I had the short ribs. Amazing margaritas. My husband love the old fashioned drinks he had. Our waitress Regina was outstanding. Super friendly and knowledgeable about the food and drink menu. I can't wait to go back for the whole experience again.
The service was absolutely wonderful. We were seated quickly. An the server helped my friend choose between steak tips and the chicken sandwich. The steak was fall apart tender and the potatoes and veg were cooked to perfection. My chicken sandwich was crispy an juicy and the fries were fresh out the fryer. The prices were reasonable and the ambiance of the restaurant was quite nice. Perfection for a casual night out or even a quick bite. If your passing through you should definitely pop in for a bite to eat.
Great menu, but went with the basics: a caesar salad, burger and fries. The salad was crisp, cold and delicious. The burger and fries were piping hot, juicy and wonderful. Our server was attentive and friendly. Great experience!
Excellent food and most of the items can be made gluten free. For apps, we had the chips but the dipping sauce was the star of the show. Had the stuff acorn squash with chicken which was really good (and hot). Others had the scallops which were really tender and fresh. The only downside was we were sitting in the bar area and it was a little loud. Will definitely be back.
Great restaurant hidden off the main road in Wellesley Hills. Breakfast was very good. The Farmer's breakfast was plentiful with perfectly cooked bacon and scrumptious sausage links. The avocado toast was the best ever and so large it could have been split with 2 people. The salmon lox was very good, bagel was perfectly cooked while the smoked salmon was not overpowering and we'll balanced with the onion and capers.
